The museum studies, promotes and preserves the historical valuables of the ancient Halych. The archeological artifacts which have been found during the research of Krylos settlements and surroundings are presented in the museum. The museum exposition demonstrates the ancient prehistoric and prince’s periods of the Halych history. The important place among the exposition collections is occupied by weapons, jewelry of Halician masters, ceramics, and architectural fragments with fresco from Church of the Dormition. The exposition hall functions permanently.
