Description:
The creation of he museum was started in 70th of ХХ century. In April 1991 according to the decision of Verkhovyna district council the museum of Lenin was fully liquidated and the museum premises were handled to a museum «Hutsul’schyna». With the flow of time the museum was carried to the village House of culture. Nowadays the museum occupies 3 rooms on the first floor. In the first room display corners are placed: «History and people of Hutsul’schyna», «Second World War», «Yet our glory and bitter fate», «Love and know the native land», «Friendship between the museum and students of Lodz city architecture institute (Poland)». In the second room there are household goods, joiner's instruments, different machine-tools for making clothes, flax and woolen origin, miniatures of house-grazhda, kolyba, family chapel; corner of «Polonyna» folk film studio. The third room represents the interior of Hutsul house with different clothes, kitchen objects, old tables, chest, musical instruments, age-old icons and a lot of other objects, a small library of old and modern literature about our land. During the period of the activities the museum has been visited by the guests from the different regions of Ukraine, Russia, Byelorussia, Italy, and Austria. Day off: Monday Working hours: 11:00 - 19:00 Lunch: 13:00 - 14:00
