Description:

Roman Skvorij – the librarian and local lore researcher, initiated the creationof the museum, first as a memorial corner of Nataliya Kobrynska, lately – separate room (1950-1964).

Olga Duchymska, a teacher of the Tiapche school, put her hands to perpetuate the memory of the authoress.

The year of 2005 was named the year of Nataliya Kobrynska in Bolekhiv. This year the new building was opened with the exhibition devoted to N. Kobrynska with the following divisions: «Beleluja»; «Bolekhiv in Nataliya Kobrynska times»; «Nataliya Kobrynska with the contemporaries»; «Memorial corner»; «Bolekhiv arranges a celebration in honor of the writer»; «Nataliya Kobrynska and Sichove Striletstvo»; «Nataliya Kobrynska and Ivan Franko».

Now there is a nice small museum of Nataliya Kobrynska placed just near the central road of the town. The building itself initially was a Jewish synagogue. In 1970-s the workshop of the Bolekhiv secondary school was placed here. The bust of Nataliya Konrynska was placed facing the workshop in 90-s.

The museum was included into the list of the objects, which have been monitored for the accessibility.

Short description of the object accessibility:

There is no devoted parking place near the museum, but not far there is a place where you can park the car. The path to the museum is asphalted without significant dints. The only step on the path was re-done into convenient lowering within the project “Open tourism: accessibility of the rest in Ivano-Frankivsk region for people with disabilities”.

Within the same project the small ramp was installed to the main entrance of the museum, which makes it now fully accessible for disabled tourists.

The doors width is enough to enter on wheel-chair. The museum room is spacious. The museum corridor is also wide enough, there are no steps or doors between the corridor and exposition hall.

The exhibits are well lighten up and signed.

There are no WC in the museum.
