Description:
Museum was founded in 2000. Main activities: movie presentation and familiarization with the process of «Shadows of Forgotten Forefathers» movie shooting. There are the following exhibitions in the museum: life and activities of famous people; local lore and ethnography; the historical and architectural heritage. Prominent producer Mr. Sergij Paradzhanov lived in this house in 1963-1964 while shooting the movie «Shadows of Forgotten Forefathers». The movie has got golden medals of the festivals “Southern Cross” and in Thessalonica, British cinema academy award for the best foreign movie. The creative team of the movie have spent their time here (cameraman Yuriy Illjenko, artist – Georgij Yakutovych, actors Ivan Mykolajchuk, Larysa Kadochnikova, others). Working days: Saturday - Sunday Working hours: 9:00 - 18:00 Lunch: 13:00 - 14:00 The museum was included into the list of the objects, which have been monitored for the accessibility. Short description of the object accessibility: You have to go down from the hill to get to the museum. There is no any specially arranged path to the museum. Taking into account the area relief it would be quite difficult for the wheel-chair user to get to the museum.
